Alice Cares For Kids Radiothon Raises $1.3 Million!

Listeners of Denver’s Alice 105.9 (KALC-FM) have come through again, giving our community over one million reasons to be grateful.

The two-day, 24-hour marathon broadcast has come to a close, with $1,300,000 being raised by fans of the Entercom Communications radio station.

The 17th Annual #Alice4Kids Radiothon was another amazing success.  This year’s $1.3 million donated will help pay for equipment, training and programs that will benefit the thousands of children treated at Children’s Hospital Colorado every year.

The talented lineup of Alice 105.9 personalities, BJ & Jamie, Producer Sean, Sam Hill, Slacker & Steve and Lil’D told stories of hope, healing and inspiration from patients of Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Not only did Alice 105.9’s listeners give so generously…we have many radiothon sponsors to thank, as well: Safeway, Marriott, Primrose Schools, Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, Big O Tires Colorado, American Financing, The Goddard School, Sam’s Club, Mile High Honda and Bellco Credit Union.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Mediathons, Telethons, and Radiothons are broadcasted on over 350 TV and radio stations each year. Stations engage viewers and listeners with inspiring stories of Miracle Children from area communities and ask listeners to call in and pledge support for local kids.
