Blue Federal Credit Union Lives “Do Good” Mission with Care Packages

Since its inception, Blue Federal Credit Union has instilled a “Do Good” mentality across their entire staff. They proved tried and true to this value to hundreds of first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blue delivered 75 “COVID Survival Kits” to Children’s Hospital Colorado on March 31st. Each bag contained a Blue insulated coffee cup, snacks, emergenC, tea, and coffee – all in a Blue branded reusable tote.

“We hope these care packages will brighten these heroes’ day and show them how much we appreciate all they do”, said Jayden Burton, Business Development Specialist in Cheyenne and Laramie, WY.

Blue has been an active partner to Children’s Hospital Colorado through the Credit Union for Kids program, raising money in their branches via various campaigns and programs as well as sponsoring Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation events. They have also offered financial guidance to any Children’s Colorado staff in times of need.

“We are so proud to partner with Blue Federal Credit Union”, says Kacie Thomas, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. “They make every decision around the idea that they can make everyone’s lives more positive, and I cannot express how powerful that is in a time like this.”

In a time that is filled with uncertainty and inevitable fear, this act of kindness and support has certainly made an incredible impact on our medical staff at Children’s Colorado.

“Now more than ever before, is time to come together as one and do all we can to support those that serve and protect Showing our first responders and health care professionals the respect and love they deserve is a small token of gratitude from all 92,000 Blue members world-wide.” said Stephanie Teubner, Blue FCU President/CEO.
